RESEARCH: Contents Page Inspiration

 

I want to mimic the layout of the marie claire contents page, with a main image being the focus of the page, as it makes the page seem less cluttered and busy. 

I do however like the GQ contents page, as the page numbers are obvious and clear. I may include this idea in my own contents page, with my feature articles having larger numbers to attract the reader, as shown in the GQ contents page.

Originally, my first issue for my magazine was going to be the issue focussing on fashion stereotypes featuring Zara Morgan, and my second was going to be the one focusing of the environment featuring Imy Moon, which was also going to be the theme of my website.

However, I realised I would prefer to write an article on the fashion article and have this be the focus of my website as I also prefer the pictures I took on that particular shoot. As a result, Issue 1 will now be the environmental front page and contents, and Issue 2 and the theme of my website will be the fashion front page and contents.
